The short version

  • ✓Your habit records live on your device and may sync through Apple iCloud on supported app versions.
  • ✓The production app uses Amplitude analytics. Some analytics events can include habit names, project titles or goals, counts, settings and a device identifier.
  • ✓Apple processes App Store purchases. Epipherse receives support requests only when you choose to contact us by email.
  • ✓This website does not set advertising cookies or run third-party marketing analytics at launch.

This policy is written to be readable. Section headings and summaries help navigation, but the complete text applies.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Epipherse operates 66 Days and is responsible for the processing described in this notice. “66 Days”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Epipherse. You can contact us at [email protected].

This policy covers the 66 Days application, its Apple platform extensions, this website, and support interactions. Apple and other providers also process information under their own privacy notices when you use their services.

2. Information handled by the app

The categories below depend on the app version, device settings, permissions and features you choose to use.

  • Habit content and settings: project titles and goals, habit names, colours, schedules, completion history, streaks, notes, photos, reminder settings and related timestamps. These records are stored on your device and may sync through your private iCloud account on supported versions.
  • Product analytics: production builds use Amplitude to understand feature use and improve reliability. Events may include an app-scoped device identifier, signup date and language, screens or controls used, purchase-related events, and properties such as project titles or goals, habit names, colours, counts, notification settings and streak totals. The App Store disclosure describes collected user content and identifiers as not linked to your identity.
  • Feedback and support: the current support flow opens your email app. If you choose to send a message, Epipherse receives your email address, message, attachments you add, and diagnostic details included in the draft such as app version, device model, operating-system version and locale.
  • Purchases: Apple processes payments and account billing. Through StoreKit, the app receives product, entitlement and verified transaction status needed to provide purchased features and restore purchases.
  • Device permissions: notifications, camera, photo library and Face ID are used only after the relevant system permission or action. These features are controlled in your Apple device settings.

3. Website information and cookies

This website does not require an account and, at launch, does not use advertising trackers, third-party marketing analytics or non-essential cookies.

Our hosting and reverse-proxy systems may create technical security logs containing an IP address, request time, requested path, response status, browser or device user agent, and referring page. We use these logs to deliver the site, diagnose errors and protect it from abuse. If optional analytics or cookies are added later, we will update this notice and request consent where required before enabling them.

4. Why we use information

We use information to provide and synchronise the app, save your chosen settings, deliver reminders and purchases, respond to support, understand feature use, improve stability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

For UK and EEA users, the legal bases may include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving 66 Days, your consent where the device or law asks for it, and compliance with legal obligations. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests; we will consider your request against any compelling reasons to continue.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers acting for their stated purposes, when you direct us to, or when law, safety or the protection of rights requires it.

  • Apple: iCloud storage and sync, App Store and StoreKit purchases, notifications and device platform services.
  • Amplitude: product usage analytics for production app builds.
  • Oracle Cloud: website hosting infrastructure. Epipherse operates the Nginx reverse proxy used for delivery and security logging.

6. International processing and retention

Our providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on provider safeguards and recognised transfer mechanisms. Review the privacy notices of Apple, Amplitude and Oracle for details about their locations and safeguards.

On-device records remain until you delete them, remove the app, or manage the corresponding iCloud data, subject to Apple backup and sync behaviour. Support, analytics, transaction and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for their stated purpose, legal obligations, dispute handling and fraud prevention, then deleted or de-identified. Provider-controlled copies follow the provider’s retention settings and policies.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete habit content in the app, manage iCloud and permissions in Apple settings, and manage subscriptions in your App Store account. You may also email [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection where applicable. We may need information that reasonably verifies and locates your records.

Residents of the UK or EEA may complain to their local data-protection authority; UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. Residents of certain US states may have additional access, deletion, correction or appeal rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Children

66 Days is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask a child under 13 to provide personal information directly to us. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can contact us to request review and deletion.

9. Security, changes and contact

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information handled. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

We may update this notice when the product, providers or law changes. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
